FAQs

What will I be asked in the first session?

In our first session, you will have the opportunity to meet with me and assess how you feel about working together. There is no obligation to continue if you choose not to; this session is simply a chance for you to determine if I am a good fit for you, your child or adolescent’s needs. It is also an opportunity for me to learn more about you and the specific needs of your child, adolescent or yourself.

How long will I need therapy for?

Depending on your condition, I may suggest a specific duration for treatment. However, as we progress, you might discover issues that you haven’t addressed, which could extend our treatment time. Generally, I recommend a minimum of six months for adults, but this can vary based on individual needs. For children, I typically advise at least a year of treatment.
